I love this book!!! Its such an inspiring read and it helps me feel more connected to God and the angels by just simply asking them to intervene in my life. I feel like this is a very good tool for healing and feeling more at peace.
This book has been life changing, seriously. I hugely recommend it. But, of course, you have to read when you feel you're ready for it.If I had read it a couple of years ago, it wouldn't have been so fantastic as it is right now. Thank you, Doreen Virtue. I'm not exaggerating: life changing. Things are so much easier now.
This book represents the divine as shimmery, magical, and benevolent. I can’t say I’m happy Virtue switched modes but that’s her process; even authors have the right to change their direction. That said, even if Doreen doesn’t like her book anymore I love it still! It helps me to deepen my relationship with the divine by seeing life a little more playfully and joyfully: fairies, mermaids, and unicorns will have that effect on you 🦄🧚ðŸ½â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ§œðŸ½â€â™€ï¸â¤ï¸. I’m not judging the author for even a second: not everyone who loves Christ feels comfortable focusing on anyone or anything else- falling in love will do that. Others who love Christ (even above all) still welcome the divine in all comfortably; and some can experience all that is divine coexisting without any competitive or exclusive energy. I never felt the stories in this book presented an “either or†mentality; nothing in this book encourages readers to choose one divine being over another. This book is just a “the divine is infinite and wonderful and here’s more of that wonderful infinity†book not a “now focus on this form of the divine and foresake all others†book; but your own connection with this book may vary.
I didn't have any expectations when I purchased this book other than to learn from Doreen Virtue and her methods on how to heal with the angels. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with what I read and the range of topics she covers. She goes over affirmations and different scenarios that one could use in order to work with your angels, providing various examples from her clients and her own experiences as evidence for such claims of healing. Towards the end of the book she goes over crystals, earth angels and the basics of numerology which I found was a pleasant surprise when reading it. The only thing I did not like, which this will depend on the reader, is her emphasis on 'God'. I do not know if she was using the word 'God' as a general term or if she was literally stating the Christian 'God' but I found the tone to be of the latter. In her other works, she claims the angels do not come from one religion but in this work the tone seems to stem from the fact they are of Christian origin. Do not get me wrong, I am religiously tolerant but I am not a Christian. Despite this little tiff of mine, the book was well written and beautifully published even though it is an older print. I definitely will use some of her techniques, especially the ones she states for those grieving, relationships and even emotional issues.
After reading this author’s first book on Angels I decided to purchase this 193 page soft cover book (Healing with angels: How the angels can assist you in every area of your life by Doreen Virtue), which I bought on Amazon for a bargain price.This book further explores the subject of angels, and how to ask them to help you solve numerous issues and problems in your life. It again emphasizes the fact that because we have free will, our guardian angels will not interfere in our lives until we personally ask for their help. I have to admit that I did not like this book as much as the first book on Angeles by the author. This is why I only gave it a fair rating. Whether you believe in angels or not, this book gives a positive and hopeful approach that is appealing. This book also has many examples of people who have been helped by appealing to their guardian angel(s) for assistance.This book is organized into 12 chapters and covers the following material: Blessings and challenges of the spiritual path, Angelic interventions in your love life, angel blessings for your family, your ascending body, life purpose and your career path, nature and animal angles, angles, afterlife and healing from grief, how angles help us, spiritual safety with angles, healing our past life issues with angels, incarnated angels, elementals, walk-ins, and star people, number sequences from angles.This book was a fair read but got to be boring in the final chapters about numbers and angels. This was an excellent book to help me heal from the loss of my best friend and husband. I have always felt and really knew that I had guardian angels around me but after the loss I needed some gentle loving reminders. This book and others of Doreen's and other authors have helped me develop a deeper connection to my guardian angels and to my loving heavenly Father.
I am so glad that I finally got around to reading this book. My life has been very busy so I’ve picked it up and put it down. There is so much truth that radiates from this book. It is a gift. There are many wonderful, helpful, useful prayers in this book. For the Angels to help us, we have to ask. We have to give them permission. I will be buying more of her books. I felt like I was vibrating at a higher frequency as I read the book and utilized the prayers. I would recommend it to a friend.
I like this book. It helps to see God's loving energy in the form of an angel. Since the angels follow the will of God for our well-being it strengthens the mental connection to God's love. The feeling of being helped and supported by the Angels of God just feels really healthy and loving. I am very glad I purchased this book.
