Cheerful upbeat book with great rhyming and the added bonus of some exposure to new science terminology. The illustrations are vivid and appealing to help keep a child engaged in the story. I'd give this one as a gift in the future - a must have for a personal library.
We have had this book for over a year now. My daughter loves it and it's still one of her favorite books ever! It's adorable and well written. I have had to brush up on pronouncing dinosaur names in order to read it. The photos are great and it's a cute story! Great for any kid who loves dinosaurs! We got this when she was three and now at four it's still one of her favorites!
My husband is a dino nerd, and when I found this book at a friend's house I knew I had to get it for our daughter. He laughed at the in-jokes, and we both love how it mentions more dinosaurs than just the typical ones.

We first found this book at the library and found ourselves checking it out time and time again. My daughter is two and a half, though she first fell in love with this book right around the time she turned two. After months of checking it out, I decided it was time to buy our own copy.It's full of clever rhymes and ideas about dinosaurs and lots of dinosaur identification in a fun way. The pictures are great and the words are even better. Boys and girls alike would enjoy this. My daughter knows all the words to it now, but I still enjoy reading it to her frequently.
My alltime favorite book to read outloud! It reads like scat. My nephew bobs his head along as I read. These dinosaurs are groovy, man!
Fun book but wish they had the pronunciation of the names somewhere. My 5 yr old loves it.
